COMPANY: New headquarters and support of WASH projects

Corona keeps the world in suspense
School closures, curfews, trade fair cancellations: the corona virus affects our daily lives and has turned everything upside down. Trade fairs have also been cancelled or postponed. MAXI-PRESS was due to exhibit in June at the world's leading trade fair "Texcare International" but it has now been postponed until 24-28 October 2020. The company has also had to re-organise its business operations in the most extreme way possible to protect the health of its employees and their families. At the same time, however, the spare and wear parts business must continue because laundries working for the health sector in particular are now dependent on it.

MAXI-PRESS moves to new company headquarters
Even faster worldwide shipping: For this company goal, MAXI-PRESS moved into a new company building on March 1, 2020. In the new building near Fulda, in the heart of Germany, the membrane manufacturer has significantly larger areas available for administration, sales, production and storage - a total of approx. 3,000 square meters on which the company can work to the most modern standards. "The demand for our products by customers from all over the world is continuously increasing", says MAXI-PRESS Managing Director Tim Zaiser. "In order to meet this demand for the future, we are in an excellent position with the move". During the planning of the building, MAXI-PRESS also had its employees and the environment firmly in mind: The new company headquarters offers a modern environment for efficient work as well as space for new staff. Solar cells on the roof generate green electricity, the office building is heated by a climate-friendly heat pump and there are charging points for electric cars.

Support of water projects (WASH)
MAXI-PRESS takes responsibility not only on site, but also as a supporting member of Viva con Agua since April 2020. The international non-profit organisation is committed to giving people worldwide access to clean drinking water. MAXI-PRESS supports so-called WASH projects on the topics of water, sanitation and hygiene such as well building initiatives or hand washing training. Tim Zaiser: "In many regions of the world, clean water is in short supply. Therefore we invest in water protection projects and support the team of Viva con Agua, which is working for a better world with a lot of commitment and joy of life". Even now in Corona times!
